As many of you will be aware, we lost a great friend to Streatham & Marlborough Cricket Club a week ago. Karen was associated with the club for 40 years and, quite apart from making teas, Saturday night food, organising social events and much more – she made us laugh, think and listen. It’s hard to think that all that life and energy has come to an end but Karen would be pleased that the cricket season has started and another successful weekend was enjoyed by the club.

Friday 13th May
3.45pm service start at Croydon Crematorium, East Chapel, Mitcham Road, Croydon CR9 3AT.
To be followed by a gathering at the clubhouse from 5pm onwards (Streatham & Marlborough Cricket Club, Dulwich Common, London SE21 7EX).
Her husband, Eddie, has asked that if people wish to give flowers (and Karen loved flowers) that they are sent to JB Shakespeare Ltd, 175 Selsdon Park Road, Croydon, Surrey CR2 8JJ before 11am on Friday.
