There has been considerable interest from members in the Devon Tour that is running from August 11-16, and we are now collecting deposits of £30 per person. If you are interested, please get your deposits in as soon as you can as places will be limited and the sooner we know numbers the easier it will be to plan accommodation, transport etc

The tour is open to all members, as well as friends, family and hangers-on and the idea is to play some good cricket in wonderful surroundings but also have a great holiday too! For those who haven’t visited Devon before, there’s plenty to do – excellent hiking opportunities, fantastic coastline and picturesque villages. There’s also an opportunity for country pursuits such as clay pigeon-shooting, fishing and falconry for those who are keen.
I have made some enquiries re. accommodation, and the top-rated White Hart Hotel in the attractive village of Moretonhampstead on Dartmoor can offer us rooms for £60 a night or £100 for 2 people sharing.
