If you’re reading this now, it’s probably safe to assume that there will be an annoyingly frequent flow of e-mails from now until the end of the cricket season.
This e-mail contains details on how to pay your membership, the last indoor net session of 2013, the upcoming NatWest CricketForce event and how to get some new club kit. Let’s kick off with CricketForce…
NatWest CricketForce – 5th, 6th, 7th April
As in previous years, we are asking for club members to get involved in preparing the club for the coming season. This is an immensely important weekend for us and helps us keep your fees down. A few hours help over the weekend will vastly improve your experience over the summer.
If anyone wants to assist with helping to organise the event – please contact me. It often falls to the Exec to find time to organise when they are already doing a lot for the club already… (moan over!)
The major jobs for this year are to strim the bank back, improve the appearance of the hall/bar and repair the roofing on the garage and pavilion – if there’s anybody who’d particular like to take on one of these tasks, please let me know.
Nets
This Sunday is the last indoor net session at DCPS for this year as Easter and CricketForce fill the following weekends before the first friendly fixtures. As soon as the ground is dry enough for us to get outside, we’ll start running practice sessions at the home ground. I’ll keep you posted.
Membership
If you are able to pay your membership fee now, we’ll be happy to take payment! As ever, we can be flexible if you are under financial pressure – but only if you are pro-active and approach the membership secretaries – Mark Bartolo (Bart1870@talktalk.net) & Roddie Bell (roddie.bell@thebgmgroup.com).
Rates are below with the bracketed amount payable after 30 April 2013:
Adult male: £180 (£220)
Adult female £90 (£110)
Adult males concessionary: £90 (£110)
U21 male £50 (£70)
U21 female £40 (£60)
Social membership £30

The latest Adidas stash has begun to be delivered to those who ordered early and this weekend’s nets will probably turn into a fashion parade. If nothing else, we’ll be the best dressed team in the league! If you want to order yours, the link is below:
