Junior cricket at SMCC

At SMCC we have a thriving and expanding junior cricket section, with cricket for boys and girls from school year Reception right up to our older juniors playing in senior cricket.

In 2019 we had 250 junior players – 200 boys and 50 girls. We ran 8 boys/mixed teams and 2 girls’ teams, who played 135 matches in all. We also ran a summer cricket camp attended by an average of 30 players per day for 16 days. With out coaching partners, 360 Cricket, we now also run camps during other school holidays.

Our girls’ section has roughly doubled in size for three years running, and in 2020 we will will be aiming to continue that trend. We are keen for girls of all ages to join our squads.

We welcome players with any level of experience.

For full details of all of the above and to how contact our junior section, please see the SMCC Juniors website.
